Debi Larkin

Hello, my name is Debi Larkin. I am from Orange County, California and have lived in Arizona for about five years now. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from Cal State Long Beach, my Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton & UCLA and my Master’s in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from National University. I have been teaching collectively for about eight years (grades 1, 2, 3 & 4). I have always had a passion for teaching. There is nothing more gratifying than inspiring children to be the best they can be…self confident with a positive attitude!  Phil and I have three amazing children Madison (7), Mattie (6), Jackson (3), a golden retriever named Buster (9) and our Bassett hound Jack (7). My children have by far taught me more than I could ever teach them. They are truly blessings from God. I am very excited to be working with a team of teachers who put their heart and soul into teaching children to truly make a difference!

Hello and welcome! Let me take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Marie Smith and I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. I lived for a short time in Sacramento, California then moved to Arizona. I attended Arizona State University where I graduated with a degree in Marketing. My husband and I have lived in the Chandler area for several years now and love it!  During that time, I have had the great fortune to be a stay at home mom to my two wonderful children.
While spending time with my them, I realized I had a keen interest in and passion for their academic development. It was then that I decided to continue my own education and went back to school to earn a teaching credential in Elementary Education. I am currently working towards my Masters in Curriculum Design and Instruction.
I have always loved learning new things and discovering what I could do. I truly believe the heart of teaching is in sharing this enthusiasm with my students. Thank you for taking an active role in your child’s learning!
